The I PUC inauguration was held on 5th June 2023 at SJIPS Auditorium to embark on the new academic journey of learning. The programme was graced by the presence of Rector Rev. Fr. Joseph D'Souza SJI, Director Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes SJ, Principal Mr M.Vinod Amrithraj, Vice Principal Dr Flora Olinda D'Souza, staff members and I PUC students from different streams. The programme began with the college anthem and the prayer service led by Ms. Saritha Roshan and team including a reading of scriptures from the Holy Bible, Bhagavad Gita and Quran, followed by an invocation dance by II PUC students organised by Ms. Neha.S and team. The lighting of the inaugural lamp was done by the Dignitaries. The Principal Mr. M. Vinod Amrithraj welcomed and addressed the students. This was followed by the Director Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes message and the Presidential address was given by Rector Rev.Fr.Joseph D'Souza which emphasized the principles and values of Jesuit Institution and the importance of the two years of college life that the students were going to pursue. A short briefing about the college was done through a video. The introduction of all the teaching staff members and I PUC class guides was projected through a PPT. The programme was well facilitated by the MC Ms. Neenu P Davis and it concluded with a Vote of thanks.
